LOADTEST is dedicated to promoting and establishing the Osterberg Cell® (O-cell®) method of load testing drilled shafts, barrettes and piles as the premier method of static load testing.
Our work in the Middle East has been ongoing since 2002, and we will continue our commitment to serve the deep foundation testing needs of our clients both regionally and globally. LOADTEST has been involved in numerous signature projects in Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Pakistan, Kingdom of Suadi Arabia and Bahrain; please see our Middle East Project Profiles section for further information on these regional projects.
Deep foundation testing services also include lateral testing, cross-hole sonic logging and sonar-based pile/shaft calipering, making LOADTEST a full-service foundation testing company. Simply put, LOADTEST is dedicated to advancing state-of-the-art techniques within the deep foundation industry.
LOADTEST also provides customers with services and equipment necessary to maintain the highest quality of load testing techniques, and will also develop ancillary products and services to meet the needs of our customers.
The O-cell method of bi-directional static load testing can be used to isolate portions of a drilled shaft or pile for testing, or can be used to test multiple levels within the same pile. Numerous world records for load testing have been set using the O-cell, including the current world record for total load on a pile of 321 MN set in St. Louis, Missouri in 2010 and 239 MN in a barrette in Dubai. LOADTEST has completed over 2,000 O-cell tests in 45 countries.
