LOADTEST, founded in 1991, specializes in bi-directional deep foundation load testing using the award winning Osterberg Cell® (O-cell®). Dr. Jorj Osterberg invented and developed the O-cell to meet the construction industry's need for an innovative effective method for testing high capacity piles. Recognizing this need, Loadtest, Inc. was formed to capitalize on this unique method of deep foundation testing. Today, LOADTEST has conducted over 2,000 O-cell tests in 45 countries around the world. Through research and hard work, LOADTEST is a recognized leader in deep foundation testing.
We have maintained a presence in Europe since 1997, and are uniquely suited to fulfill the needs of the European and African community. To better serve our clients in Europe & Africa, LOADTEST Ltd was established in 2001 in England.
In January 2009, Fugro purchased the LOADTEST Group of companies. The Fugro Loadtest synergy provides additional strength, support and resources around the world.
No job is too big or too small to enjoy the advantages of the O-cell. It can be used to isolate portions of a drilled shaft or pile for testing, or can be used to test multiple levels within the same pile. Loadtest services include load testing equipment and installation assistance as well as full planning, specification support, field load testing and analytical services.
